Historical:
The first raid made by height-climbers was a total surprise attack. The zeppelins were to high for those on the ground to hear them coming. After executing the raid and re-crossing the English Channel, as the zeppelin fleet was coming in to land, squadrons of British and French fighter planes attacked the airbase.
